The new faces of Lorraine’s Model Mates strip on Oxford Street

Four friends from Portsmouth have won Lorraine’s Model Mates competition, beating over 4,000 UK women and securing a modelling contract with Curvy Kate. For their first modelling appointment the quartet striped outside Debenhams London Oxford Street, launching the new swimwear range in store and the brand’s latest campaign, which they have fronted.

Thirty-two year old Mum of three, Charlotte commented, “Never in a million years did we think we would win, especially after being put down in the past for our shapes.The fact that we have shared this experience together means the world to us. Every curve, flaw and shape represents us as women and we’re hoping we could represent other curvy women out there.”

With a friendship spanning over fifteen years and with five children between them, these girls have taken a stand to embrace and celebrate their shapes and give a true representation of today’s British woman. Their campaign images will be seen around the country and on Debenhams.com where the brand’s Spring/Summer 2014 swimwear collection is sold.
